Linear Scale Measurement Enhances Ram Position Control
The Janome JP Series 5 Fully Closed Model servo press uses a linear scale to measure the ram stop position for superfine position control.
When a servo press runs continuously for some time, the ram can expand from the heat. Add position deflection from the workpiece into the mix and the ram position can fluctuate. Some pressing applications require especially tight margins of error, and even the small position differences caused from heat and deflection can mean the difference between operational success and failure.
The JP Series 5 Fully Closed Model also reduces setup time as operators do not need to make warm-up runs at the beginning of operation.
Available in 8 sizes from 500N to 80kN and designed for both single unit setup and inline installation, the electrically-powered JP Series 5 servo press is the ideal replacement for pneumatic and hydraulic presses. The JP Series 5 can press-fit, swage, bend, compress, seal, hole punch, perforate, shape and more.
