Client Profile

The client operates a facility with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of maleic anhydride. During the production process using n-butane, a significant amount of off-gas and a small volume of waste liquid are generated, both requiring harmless treatment and compliance with environmental standards.

Solution

To meet the client’s requirements and effectively address VOC emissions, RUIDING implemented a multi-chamber integrated incineration system combining RTO + TO + a heat recovery system. This configuration ensures the safe and efficient treatment of large volumes of low-concentration exhaust gas and waste liquid, fully satisfying the environmental and operational needs of the facility.

The compact design of the system minimizes land use, significantly reducing project investment. At the same time, the incorporation of a waste heat boiler enables surplus heat to be converted into steam, greatly improving overall energy utilization efficiency.

This integrated incineration system not only eliminates environmental pollution risks but also delivers an annual economic benefit of approximately 135 million RMB for the client. RUIDING’s n-butane waste-gas regenerative incineration technology holds a leading market share in China, with over 40 large-scale (>70,000 m³/h) regenerative incineration and steam recovery units successfully deployed.
