At present, most of the slip rings on the market are of integral structure, while the market share of slip rings with separate structures is relatively low.
For separate structure slip ring, brush wire and copper ring are unprotected exposed. The relatively simple structure makes it easy to observe the internal structure wear and make it easier to maintain, which is the biggest advantage of separate slip ring. However, this also determines that it cannot work in harsh environments. There is no degree of protection, so the separate structure slip ring is more suitable for installation in equipment with low humidity and constant temperature conditions.
The integral structure slip ring is not so limited. The number of circuits, the level of protection, and whether integrated optical fiber, high frequency, gas-liquid joints, etc., can be freely selected according to actual use requirements. Compared with the separate structure slip ring, the integral structure slip ring has good sealing performance and is less affected by the external environment, which greatly improves its reliability.
