Puma curve conveyor, now also available for Big Bag conveying

Jonge Poerink Conveyors succeeded in making an even stronger, more rigid construction of this Puma curve, by having an extra frameplate in the middle, and 2 rows of metal conical rollers. The drive and return drums are equiped with special designed/strengthened sprockets, to cope with the tensions they have to deal with.

With these small changes we adopted this curve to be able to convey big bags up to 1000 kg in weight!

This curve conveyor is available in different dimensions, angle/belt width - insideradius. Most common dimensions are:

* 90/1400-800 maximum total load of 2000 kg

* 90/1200-600 maximum total load of 2200 kg

The Puma curve is of course still able to convey smaller bags, like it does for more then 30 years now. Potato bags are a typical product for which this curve is frequently used.

Another typical application for which the Puma curves are being used: bags filled with cement. The abrasive dust is no hazard since we use conical rollers as a support in this case.
