High Speed Machining Centers

JUARISTI sets a new milestone with the manufacturing of new Th5 series: high production and large size machining centers.

The Th 5 Series of high speed machining centers feature X-axis travels 2000 – 4000 mm, vertical travels 1500 - 2500 mm and Z-axis travels 1500 - 2500 mm.

The machining center can be equipped with 2-4 or more pallets 1450 x 1600 mm or 2000 x 2500 mm, with load capacity 12000 kg.

Linear guide ways permit excellent dynamics and productivity – rapid feed rate 40,000 mm/min, and acceleration 3 m/s2. Symmetrical column-headstock and 4 vertical guide ways guarantee exceptional rigidity and thermal and mechanical accuracy.

The machining center can be equipped with a 5-axis twist type continuous head with 6000 rpm or 12000 rpm; universal milling head with 0.001 x 0.001 degree increment, 6000 rpm; boring spindle diameter 130 mm or 150 mm, or horizontal fixed spindle.

Chain type ATC up to 160 tools with quick change time (6 s), and robotized matrix type ATC up to 400 tools are available.

Its wraparound design, integrating protection enclosure with bed and chip conveyors, allows complete collection of chips and cutting fluids that are discharged without ever fouling or polluting the shop floor.

The enclosure includes automatic doors for loading/unloading pallets, roof with lights and workpiece washers with coolant jets.

Air, oil mist and fumes aspiration systems may also be installed to keep clean environment and good visibility.

The ergonomics that allows to the operator a perfect control of the operations as well as a careful arrangement of the main components for easy monitoring and maintenance, have been taken into account in the design phase.
