A proportional pressure regulator converts an electrical signal (0-10V, 4-20mA, or RS485 Modbus) into precisely controlled output pressure. What Is a Proportional Pressure Regulator?
How It Works: Dual-Solenoid Closed-Loop Control
Our regulators use a complete closed-loop servo system:

Fill solenoid valve — opens to increase output pressure
Vent solenoid valve — opens to decrease output pressure
Internal pressure transducer — measures real output pressure continuously
Digital controller (PI closed-loop) — compares setpoint vs feedback and drives both valves
When both valves close, pressure is locked — stable, energy-efficient, and immune to downstream fluctuation.

Q1: What is the difference between a proportional pressure regulator and an electronic pressure regulator? They are the same product with different names. Other common names include electro-pneumatic regulator, E/P converter, I/P converter, and digital pressure regulator.

Q2: Can it control pressure up to 100 bar? Yes. Our QKL 0-100 bar series provides precision control up to 105 bar (1523 psi) with accuracy up to 0.01% F.S. Custom ranges above 100 bar are available on request.
