Innovative sawing technology Made in Germany

At the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), which will be held from 3rd to 7th November 2015 in the Chinese city of Shanghai, KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH will be presenting its innovative sawing technology for the metalworking industry. In Hall 3H, stand number C 174, the German-based company will introduce visitors to its KASTOwin range of versatile, multipurpose, automatic band saws, the KASTOspeed high-performance circular saw and many other solutions.

The KASTOwin series, first presented in 2014, comprises five fully automatic band saws, with cutting ranges of up to 1060 millimetres. The models KASTOwin A 3.3 and A 4.6 with cutting ranges of 330 and 460 millimetres can be seen live in action at the MWCS. KASTOwin is a flexible, all-round solution for a variety of materials, and is used in numerous applications in trade and industry. Because many of the parts used in the different models are identical, the range offers outstanding value for money. At the same time, its carefully thought-through, robust design guarantees exceptional cutting performance. The SmartControl sawing machine controller ensures easy operation. It contains all the material data, and automatically sets all the necessary parameters.

Visitors to the KASTO exhibition stand will also be able to see the KASTOspeed high-performance automatic circular saw. The saws in this series are particularly suited to economical long-series applications. The KASTOspeed C 9 model that will be on view at MWCS is equipped with a carbide saw blade for steel machining operations and has been designed to handle material thicknesses of up to 90 millimetres. The optimum positioning of the saw drive, together with the four-point workpiece clamping mechanism, permits an extremely short saw stroke. Thanks to its outstanding reliability and precision, KASTOspeed is one of the most frequently purchased high-volume circular saws of its type in the world.
