Kaye ValProbe RT® (Real-Time RF) is a wireless thermal validation system built around a comprehensive range of wireless data loggers for temperature, pressure, humidity, and CO₂ measurements. Leveraging the latest advances in RF and battery technology, the platform delivers real-time process data for thermal validation applications throughout the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The ValProbe RT system consists of a range of wireless data loggers, a Base Station for real-time wireless communication, and a Validation Console preloaded with ValProbe RT software. Together, these components provide accurate in-situ measurements, automated sensor verification, data collection, reporting, and secure data storage capabilities. Designed for a broad spectrum of thermal validation requirements, the platform supports applications such as steam sterilizers, dry heat sterilizers, steam-in-place (SIP) systems, water cascade sterilizers, freeze dryers, stability chambers, incubators, freezers, vessels, and washer disinfectors.

Bendable Temperature Loggers
• Available in single and dual and 5-Channel sensor configurations
• Sensor lengths of 12, 24, and 36 inches (305, 610, and 915 mm)
• Temperature ranges from -85°C to 400°C
• Accuracy of ±0.1°C from -85°C to 140°C and ±0.25°C from 140°C to 400°C

Flexible Temperature Loggers
• Available in single, dual, and 5-Channel sensor configurations
• 40-inch (1000 mm) sensor length

CO₂ Loggers
• Integrated NDIR sensor
• CO₂ measurement range: 0% to 20%
• Accuracy: ±0.2% (0% to 10%) and ±0.5% (10% to 20%)
• Operating temperature range: 0°C to 50°C
• Field-replaceable CO₂ sensor

Surface Temperature Loggers
• Ultra-flat surface sensor design
• Temperature ranges from -85°C to 140°C

Pressure and Temperature Loggers
• Single pressure and temperature sensor
• 1/4 NPT connection fitting
• Measurement range: 0°C to 140°C and 0 to 5 bar absolute

Real-Time Wireless Performance

The ValProbe RT Wireless Data Loggers provide live data transmission during validation studies through RF communication technology. The system offers an RF range of up to 150 meters and supports up to 25 loggers and 50 sensors within a single ValProbe system configuration.
Each logger features field-replaceable 3.6V lithium batteries, data storage capacity of up to 100,000 samples per sensor, and sampling rates starting at one second. Precision platinum RTD sensing elements ensure accurate measurements, while automated user verification capability helps simplify validation workflows.

Validation Software and Reporting

ValProbe RT software supports all major validation activities, including study setup, qualifications, logger verifications, reporting, and data storage and backup. Running on a dedicated Validation Console with Windows 10 LTSC, the software is designed to support current requirements for 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, and Cyber Security.
The platform combines high-accuracy measurements, automated sensor verification, an intuitive metro-style user interface, and extensive reporting functionality to simplify the validation process and compliant reporting of real-time logger data.

Common Reporting Tool

The Kaye Common Reporting Tool (CRT) provides additional flexibility for validation teams by allowing study files generated by both Kaye ValProbe RT and Kaye Validator AVS systems to be opened and reviewed on a separate PC. This enables post-analysis and reporting activities to be completed independently from the Validation Console, helping improve workflow efficiency and resource utilization.

Enterprise Database Functionality

ValProbe RT incorporates an integrated database platform designed to centralize validation data management through a unified Kaye Database Server. The system supports multi-department operations with role-based access controls, concurrent multi-user access, and advanced reporting capabilities, helping improve collaboration, visibility, and decision-making across validation programs.
The platform supports both online and offline HMI operation with intelligent synchronization to maintain data continuity. When used with Kaye thermal validation hardware, ValProbe RT software provides end-to-end traceability, enhanced compliance support, and a scalable foundation for validation data management aligned with modern Pharma 5.0 expectations.

Compliance and Data Integrity

ValProbe RT software is designed to support current regulatory requirements for 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, and Cyber Security. The platform incorporates secure data management, audit-ready controls, role-based access, centralized database functionality, and end-to-end traceability to support compliant validation workflows.
Through features such as centralized data storage, controlled user access, audit trails, automated verification capabilities, and secure data synchronization, ValProbe RT helps organizations implement data management practices aligned with ALCOA++ principles. In addition, all ValProbe RT loggers are supported by NVLAP (NVLAP Lab Code 200913-0) and DAkkS calibration services, providing traceable measurement performance for pharmaceutical and biotechnology validation programs.
