We Are One of SuSanA`s Partners!

Kemisan Klor-Alkali has become the partner of SuSanA, the international sustainable sanitation platform.

SuSanA (Sustainable Sanitation Alliance), which has been run by Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since 2007 and financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, offers an international platform to its partners and members on sustainable sanitation.

With 365 partners and 12,500 members, including government-owned entity, international and local non-governmental organizations, universities and educational-research institutions, private sector and social enterprises, it functions as a 'network' rather than an organization in sustainable sanitation, and it creates an important resource and interaction area in this field. This network has adopted the principle of making sanitation systems accessible to everyone without any discrimination, with discussion forums, thematic working groups that are developed every day with its members and partners, the library where the resources are presented in this field, and the meetings and events it organizes.

As Kemisan, with our technology that produces sodium hypochlorite only from water, salt and electricity on site, we offer a safer and more sustainable disinfection option for human health than chlorine gas, in addition to our contribution to the reduction of plastic waste. Today, when we consider that a considerable part of the world has limited access to clean water, food, hygiene and health services and these resources are decreasing every day, we, as Kemisan, are proud to be a part of this group with the on-site and sustainable disinfection systems we produce.
