Keyence präsentiert mit seinem AGILISTA im Vergleich zu anderen 3D-Druckern eine weitere Innovation, die sowohl Aufwand als auch Kosten spart. Das für das Stützen von Überhängen, Hohlräumen oder waagerecht verlaufenden Bohrungen notwendige Supportmaterial ist wasserlöslich, sodass beim Entfernen weder das Bauteil beschädigt noch das Material in seiner Beschaffenheit verändert wird. So wird dem Nutzer ermöglicht, ohne mechanischen Aufwand oder einer Wasserstrahlanlage das Material zu entfernen.
