The next step in Contour Cut technology: Contour Cut Speed

Contour Cut Speed (CCS) is a patented plasma cutting technology from Kjellberg Finsterwalde, Germany, for the cutting of contours in mild steel. The Contour Cut technology cuts smaller contours, in particular holes with a diameter/material thickness ratio of 1:1, at the highest quality. With Contour Cut Speed contours can be cut at similar quality up to 50 % faster.

CCS uses the same consumables and enriches the existing Contour Cut technology with a number of significant economic advantages, as there are reduced cost per metre cut as a result of higher cutting speeds in the quality area, very low heat-affected zone, high quality in terms contour accuracy, perpendicularity and surface quality as well as further reduction of angular deviation at inner and outer contours and excellent repeat and dimensional accuracy.

Contour Cut Speed is integrated as a standard feature of all plasma cutting units of the HiFocus neo series and the Smart Focus series. Smart Focus is the new plasma cutting series from Kjellberg Finsterwalde for the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm. With just a few settings these new compact units achieve excellent cutting results – even under challenging conditions. The Smart Focus units can also be used for marking, bevel cutting and underwater cutting - made in Germany.
