CP400-P1600 – An economical and reliable blister line for solids

At this year''s Interpack, Mediseal GmbH, a Medipak Systems Group company, is presenting customer-specific solutions in customised system design along with standard solutions for reliable and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical products.

The CP400 for mid-range output (up to 400 blisters/min.) has a consistent modular design which uses decentralised drive systems for the forming, dosaging, sealing and stamping stages. Off-takes powered by servo motors allow precise positioning of the

blisters in the individual processing steps – regardless of the specific shrinkage behaviour of the blister foil. At the same time the servo motors eliminate mechanical auxiliary drives, so each station is clearly laid-out and easily accessible. The key parameters for blister production (pressure, temperature and time) can be pre-set according to the format. In combination with the P1600 cartoner, this constitutes a renowned and reliable line for mid-range production in a further improved version, the key features of which include a reliable process, fast change-overs, quick and efficient cleaning and minimum downtime.
