Korenix Wireless AP/IP Gateway has passed EN50155 certification for harsh vehicle and railway operations

Korenix is pleased report that its wireless AP/IP Gateway products have passed EN50155 certification, which verifies that they excel in the harsh and demanding conditions of vehicle and railway operations.

EN50155 certification applies to the class of electronic equipment of control, regulation, protection, and supply installed on rail vehicles that uses either an accumulator battery or a low voltage power supply source, with the exception of electronic power circuits, which are covered by EN50207. EN50155 sets a consistent benchmark for equipment's operation, design, construction, and testing conditions, as well as basic hardware and software requirements.

Korenix's JetWave 3220/3320/3420 Series with round M12 connectors are EN50155-certified and undergo environmental testing are designed specifically for vehicle and railway applications to ensure reliable performance under a variety of power supply conditions, such as voltage variations, power interruptions, and supply changeover. The products can also withstand environmental disturbances, including vibration, shock, and temperature variations.
