Modular differential pressure transmitter PASCAL CV Delta P

LABOM has expanded its modular concept PASCAL CV series with the option of a differential pressure transmitter. The compact device is distinguished in particular by its variety of possible applications.

With its PASCAL CV series, manufacturer of measuring devices LABOM presents a range that combines a high level of standardisation with flexibility and individual custom solutions. The measuring task can be expanded or later upgraded as required by the integration of various function modules. Among the options available: a switching module with two potential-free channels with up to 0.5 A of switching current, a multifunction display, a 4…20 mA output signal with HART protocol and a PROFIBUS PA.

Whether for chemical or petrochemical industries, process engineering or with general process technology: The measurement of differential pressure in areas such as filter monitoring or level measurement calls for individual or customised solutions. This process requirement is addressed by the modular concept of the PASCAL CV series by LABOM. The differential pressure transmitter PASCAL CV Delta P enables a simple exchange of various function modules, according to the principle “plug and measure.” The modules can be replaced quickly on site and are immediately ready for use, without interrupting the production process and without recalibration.

The switching module in particular offers a range of possible applications, one example is the monitoring of filters. The differential pressure transmitter can not only measure the level of filter saturation, it can also directly initiate the necessary action by switching any relevant connected device on or off.

The case made of robust stainless steel is extremely compact for a differential pressure transmitter and satisfies the stringent requirements of the especially high protection class IP 69K. Even with a turndown of 5:1 the PASCAL CV Delta P guarantees a high accuracy of ≤ 0.15 %; the nominal range is between 0.4 and 40 bar. In addition to the exchangeable modules, LABOM also offers individual solutions regarding process connection. The standard version is a process flange according to DIN EN 61518 with sealing plugs that can be replaced by a venting valve, if required. LABOM also provides alternative process connectors by request.
