Lasermet - Interlock control for lasers and X-rays

When correctly wired and integrated, the ICS-6 performs to the highest safety standard EN ISO 13849-1 Performance level ‘e'', by incorporating start-to-end, dual channel architecture and fault detection.

The controller can prevent doors being opened by using maglocks, while providing visible warning with illuminated LED signs. (Audible warning is also available). An override facility – using an access keypad – is linked to the controller to enable authorised entry with a code. Emergency stop buttons and breakglass units are also connected.

ICS-6 is a failsafe device used by universities, medical facilities and laboratories worldwide to ensure the safety of all personnel. Interlock control is an essential part of health and safety in preventing potentially harmful exposure to either laser or ionising radiation.
