Roots in Germany, branches all over the world

As the world is getting more and more global and interconnected, so is L.B. Bohle with a global presence for its

customers. From the headquarters in Ennigerloh, Germany, the Management oversees Plant 2 for handling machines in

Sassenberg as well as Plant 3 in Ennigerloh where process machines are produced. Apart from the production and

administration sites in Germany with an operating space of 40,000 sqm, L.B. Bohle also operates its own sales/

service subsidiary in Warminster, Pennsylvania (USA) with 15 employees. In the US, the leading pharmaceuticals market

with annual turnover of USD 300 billion, L.B. Bohle generates around 30 percent of its annual sales volume.

Bohle also has sales offices in Asia, i.e. Singapore and India.

Especially on the Asian market, which continues to grow at a fast pace, Bohle is stepping up its activities. „We recently

won a large contract for a process machine in India – this market plays an important role for our planning, as does

the Chinese market“, explains Sales Manager Tim Remmert.

In South America, the Bohle team consisting of a sales network of 40 partners worldwide, has been strengthened

as well. The numerous sales successes in the area of handling and process machines in the growing economies in South

America show that the strategy is working.

With an export ratio of almost 80 percent, foreign trade is a main pillar supporting the business success of the

machine-builder with deep roots in Ennigerloh in Westphalia. Particularly the Eastern European market is of major

interest as well. Remmert forecasts, „Exports to Russia will continue to grow as the pharmaceutical manufacturers

value Bohle-quality ‚Made in Germany‘ and the Russian government increasingly focuses on domestic production.“

In addition to the expansion of the sales team, the service department has also been expanded in terms of personnel.

The Bohle service team supports customers with installation and start-up of systems and can also manage the entire

assembly and production launch – no matter on which continent. Annual routine maintenance and calibrations are expertly

carried out by the Bohle team, according to the motto: “Our service knows no time limits”.
