SuperVIG® has completed multiple rounds of colour sampling and process tuning. You can: Choose from SuperVIG’s existing colour library, including mainstream low-saturation colours such as grey-purple, greige, champagne gold and more. Provide a Pantone code or colour swatch for SuperVIG to match. Let SuperVIG’s CMF team recommend colours based on your brand identity. ...
Because of convection, when glass is installed vertically, air convection is reduced. Compared with vertical installation, non vertical insulated glazing installation has more air convection. By extrapolation, horizontal installation has the biggest decrease in insulation .
Vacuum insulated glazing is made by removing air from the cavity between two glass panes, which reduces heat transfer and improves thermal performance. To better maintain the vacuum and reduce gas leakage over time, the edges of the two panes are supposed to be hermetically sealed. In other words: A VIG unit is like a dewar And a VIG edge seal functions like a dewar s...
In Part I we reviewed the structural principles and structural-strength differences of the three most common edge seals. In Part II we will further examine the three edge seals, covering environmental resistance, environmental compliance, safety, and edge thermal performance.
Let us begin with a real scenario. Leadership of company A is amazed by an energy audit report that has just come out. Annual electricity expenditure: RMB 22 million. Of this, more than 20% is attributable to avoidable heat loss caused by inadequate insulation performance. In other words, over RMB 4 million per year in electricity cost of company A is effectively “los...
