First IP65 certified Fieldbook docking station

A seamless mobile access to companies'' intranets is increasingly important. With the Fieldbook docking station, LOGIC INSTRUMENT now provides the first IP65 and MIL-standard certified solution that enables vehicle-mounted tablets to be used in outdoor areas without any restrictions to the current weather and environmental conditions.

Forklifts that are guided by WiFi through the warehouse to quickly find the right place of goods now also can do the loading and unloading outdoor during rain and snowfall. Repair and maintenance work in industrial plants that are depending on GPS and WWAN connection now can be made easier, faster and therefore more cost-effective. Just as these examples, many processes in automotive, utility, transport and logistic sectors can be optimized with this solution. Thus, a real consistent data access is finally possible.

The Fieldbook Tablets and Docks are especially designed for harsh environments. The dock is UL compliant, MIL-STD810G and IP65 certified, and therefore offers protection against ingress of dust and water jets from any angle. To achieve the IP standard, LOGIC INSTRUMENT has designed a special connector to link the docking and the tablet.

Thanks to VESA (50, 75, 100) and RAM-Mount compatibility, the installation in various vehicles (forklifts, pallet trucks, construction vehicles, etc.) is easy to handle and universally applicable.

Now companies can fully take advantage of a vehicle-mounted tablet – a big step towards enterprise mobility.

The docking is now available for the Fieldbook series A and B (Windows) as well as the rugged Android tablet E1.
