1. The output of smelting products increased rapidly. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February 2021, China's output of ten nonferrous metals was 10.556 million tons, up 10.6 percent year on year. Of which the output of refined copper was 1.63 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%; the output of primary aluminum was 6.452 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%; the lead was 1.109 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%; and the zinc was 1.075 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.

2. The output of processed materials increased significantly. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, From January to February 2021, the output of copper processing materials was 2.646 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.0%; the output of aluminum materials was 10.276 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 59.3%.

3. The prices of major varieties have increased to varying degrees. According to the data released by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, from January to February of 2021, the average spot price of copper in China was 60,612 yuan/ton, a year-on-year increase of 28.5%; aluminum was 15,620 yuan/ton, up 11.6% year-on-year; lead was 15,248 yuan/ton, up 3.6% year-on-year; and zinc was 21008 yuan/ton, up 17.5% year-on-year.
