LUCAS is hiring 10 people to ensure its growth and digital transformation

The LUCAs company, specialist of cartesian robots manufacturing for industry 4.0, is growing fast internationnaly and working on its own factory 4.0 project and hires engineers and mechanics for its headquarter in Bazas (France)

LUCAS is expanding internationally and is adapting its production unit to reach the Industry 4.0 standards as soon as possible. In this context, the company is developing new peripherals for the sheet metal industry and is using its own factory as a proof of concept. This project is partly financed by funds from the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine as part of its 2019-2025 innovative projects grant, and allows the creation of permanent jobs.

The Gironde-based manufacturer is looking for two types of profiles: mechanical engineers for its design office and mechanics, fitters, electricians for production. In total, 10 permanent positions and 5 end-of-studies internships are to be filled.

Specialized in robotics and industrial machinery manufacturing, LUCAS is developing its own technologies on its factory in Bazas (33) that will enable it to modernize and automate its production. This project mobilizes a part of the research department and will be conducted with the help of the range of axis and standard robotic gantries developed and manufactured by the industrialist.

LUCAS is a family company based in Bazas, 40km south of Bordeaux. It specializes in the manufacture of end-of-line industrial machines and develops a standardized range of linear axes and Cartesian robots for the factory of the future. The company employs 80 people at its Bazas site, which includes a production unit, R&D and administration.
