China's largest slewing bearing was successfully manufacturered by LYC

The first split extra large slewing bearing of China was successfully produced by LYC extra large slewing bearing facility and delivered to customer the successfully production of such bearing ended the history that China could not manufacture this kind of slewing bearing filled the domestic blank.

The diameter of this bearing is 10.94 meters weight up to 31.95 tons the inner rings and the outer rings are composed by 19 segments of arc-shaped steel with length of 4.8 meters to 5 meters. In order to guarantee the successfully production of such bearing LYC’s R&D group made anything possibleduring every processcombining the actual use and the specialty such as extra- large and split made process plan and optimized processing scheme for every possible condition during processing. Especially in the procedure of heat treatment tooth processing and joint face LYC R&D group innovated processing method not only guaranteed the smoothly process of product but also solved process problem.

On March 19th the customer and the ABS representative arrived to extra large slewing bearing facility and inspected the slewing bearing on site.Finally every technical index reached customer’s requirement successfully passed through ABS’s inspection and acceptance.
