Setting meaningful and realistic specifications for a product’s material attributes is crucial in ensuring that the product behaves and performs as required. Within this, the particle size and particle size distribution of the ingredients and excipients present within a product’s formulation are often considered important. Why is this the case, and how do we know whether a particle size analysis method is appropriate or if it could be improved or optimized?

In this webinar, we will take a deep dive into the application of laser diffraction particle size analysis using the Mastersizer 3000, across numerous applications. We’ll investigate the process of developing and optimizing both wet and dry dispersion methods and validating these methods, or alternatively ensuring that methods are successfully transferred between instruments/platforms or locations.
