The one and only hydraulic rock drill that does not require an external air

Maruzen hydraulic rock drill DH205 is the only tool on the market with built-in air flushing feature with 4 different mode of blow frequency and rotations.

The exhaust of the air is necessary when drilling the rock with the rock drills.

Therefore, normally, it is usual to bring a big air compressor to the working area for rock drills.

This is because if the dust generated during drilling is not exhausted from the hole, the drill bits can be trapped inside the hole by the dust and will not operate and cannot work for further drilling.

In existing hydraulic rock drills, external air was connected to the drill to remove the dust in order to remove the dust from the hole.

In this case, the operator needs to bring a drill rod, hydraulic power source, hydraulic hoses, and air compressor in addition to the hydraulic rock drill.

Since the working area is not always in an open and flat area, the fewer tools and equipment the operator needs to carry will lighten the burden imposed on the operator and moreover easier it is to ensure safety.

If the operator is mainly using hydraulic equipment, it would be a troublesome job to bring in an air compressor just for rock drills.

Maruzen hydraulic rock drill has an air compressor built inside the main body of the rock drill.

The air produced by the drill is flushed out from the end of the drill rod and used for flushing out the dust from the drilling hole. When drilling up to 1m, an air compressor is unnecessary.

*Depending on the rock hardness or type, the drilling available depth without external air can be varied.
