The complex broaching tool is composed of several segment solutions that MASAM provides to its customers. Of course, each final shape requires a different number of segments as well as their specific solutions. It is common for a pre-roughed workpiece shape to be completed with a segment tool, or for the entire technological element to be produced from several types of segments, assembled as a single broaching unit. For this reason, segment tools are divided into a first solution, which is focused on roughing operations. The following are profile segments which, on a rough profile, perform a semi-finishing operation. The third and last solution is focused on finishing and calibrating the final shape of the workpiece. All types of segments are developed and supplied to our customers and represent the company's own category in the field of broaching tools.
