Laska at IFFA 2025 in Frankfurt/Germany

More than 30 machines ‘Made in Austria’ - Innovative solutions for the future of food processing

Laska focuses on innovation, quality and customized solutions to master the challenges of modern food production. At the world's leading trade fair IFFA 2025 in Frankfurt (3 to 8 May 2025, Hall 8, Stand A40), the Austrian company will be showcasing more than 30 machines showcasing ‘Food Processing in Perfection’. All machines are produced in-house in Austria and combine innovative technology and impressive efficiency.

The series machines are manufactured to the highest quality on the most modern assembly line - as is familiar from the automotive industry. These series machines are then also the building blocks from which automated production lines can be constructed to meet the ever-increasing demands of the food industry. The customized solutions impress with their flexibility and integration into existing ERP systems - a decisive advantage for companies that focus on maximum efficiency and cost reduction. Among the highlights at IFFA are two complete production lines - one for cooked sausage and one for raw sausage - which impressively demonstrate how Laska automates and optimizes complex processes. Particularly noteworthy: Cutters can also be successfully integrated into these production lines.

Technological excellence and customized solutions

Laska sets itself apart with its technological excellence. One focus is also on the emulisifiers, which are available in different versions (2-, 3- or 4-stage) and as hopper or inline versions. The inline version with a specially adapted bunker enables even more precise processing, even for particularly viscous products such as pet food.

Intelligent autopilot

Laska's engineers are working hard to make handling a block grinder, for example, child's play. The jerk-free soft start protects the machine and extends its service life. The machine is then ramped up to maximum output. Regardless of whether frozen blocks or fresh meat is being processed - the automatic speed control gets the most out of it. Even a product change requires no operator intervention. Everything runs without any time-consuming and complicated adjustment work. Laska calls this ‘intelligent autopilot’.

The efficient separating cylinder as a new option separates cartilage, bone and even plastic parts in the grinding process - an additional improvement in product quality and operational safety. And now you can even select the desired hygiene level!

Intuitive operation and maximum user-friendliness

Laska relies on the most advanced technology, which not only impresses with its performance, but also with its user-friendliness. Laska's industrial cutters now offer a completely new touchscreen control system that is more intuitive and easier to use than ever before. This user-friendly cutter control system ensures even greater efficiency and simplifies the entire production workflow.

Automation as the key to success

The challenges facing the meat and protein processing industry - from price pressure to a shortage of skilled labour - call for new solutions. Increasing automation offers a decisive advantage. It not only optimizes production processes, but also helps to save energy and materials and avoid production downtime. It also ensures consistently high product quality and makes it possible to fulfil the industry's strict legal requirements.

Another highlight is the networked Smart Factory. At IFFA, Laska will be demonstrating how web-based process control systems (MES and ERP) can be used to link production lines with one another in order to ensure a continuous flow of data and seamless process optimization. This means that not only new systems, but also existing systems can be efficiently retrofitted.

Laska - a prime example of innovation and independence

Laska is synonymous with innovation ‘Made in Austria’ and impressively demonstrates at IFFA 2025 that success is based on a clear vision: Creating solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of customers, enabling process optimization and cost reduction while guaranteeing the highest quality. Thanks to its independence and focus on continuous development, Laska is not only a reliable partner for the food industry, but also a healthy and sustainably growing company that is constantly expanding its success through technological excellence and innovative solutions.
