Matex is supporting 2022 Formula SAE Japan as a B class sponsor. Matex Planetary Gears are also employed for EV class formula cars by Aichi Institute of Technology and other university teams.

Formula SAE Japan (FSAEJ) is an opportunity for students to develop skills for object creation "MONO-ZUKURI" through the competition of hand-made formula car performances. We Matex deeply sympathizes the goal and the policy and have decided to be a sponsor. The event will be held from 6th(Tue) to 10th(Sat) Sept. 2022 at ECOPA Shizuoka Japan, and will have our booth.

Matex has developed an all-stainless custom planetary gear that can be used under extraordinary environments of space based on the standard product LGU75-5MAD upon a request from a national space developping organization. Matex had been discussing it with the organization and has contributed to choosing the right stainless materials and modifying the structure.
