2022(20th) Formula SAE Japan was held at ECOPA, Shizuoka

The real competition of Formula SAE Japan is held for the first time after the COVID19 pandemic.

2022 (20th) Formula SAE Japan, or Gakusei-Student Formula event was held at ECOPA, Shizuoka from 6th to 10th Sept. Matex is also participating in the event as a sponsor of the FSAEJ. Some EV class teams employ our gear as their drive unit and are discussing planetary gear with Matex's engineer.

Matex has developed an all-stainless custom planetary gear that can be used under extraordinary environments of space based on the standard product LGU75-5MAD upon a request from a national space developping organization. Matex had been discussing it with the organization and has contributed to choosing the right stainless materials and modifying the structure.
