High Torque/High Durability/Compact Planetary Gear Reducers

Matex's new LGU35 models

Two new high-torque, high-durability models have been added to our compact LGU35 series (φ35 mm) of Planetary Gear Modules, further enhancing one of Matex's most popular models.

 Reducers have become indispensable in a world of increasing automation. At the same time, as the market has trended towards ever more compact and efficient machines, demand for smaller Planetary Gear Reducers capable of withstanding high torque has skyrocketed. In order to meet this market demand, Matex has added new high-torque and high-durability models to its lineup.
 With the high-torque model, Matex was able to double the torque specifications compared to its standard LGU35-S type while maintaining the same compact size by changing the gear material from sintered steel to hardened steel alloys. The resulting LGU35-M7 model delivers output torque figures belying its small size.
 Furthermore, as an evolution of the sintered steel LGU35 series, Matex has developed a new model with vastly enhanced durability. The LGU35-S7A features increased wear resistance of the rotating and sliding components of the planetary gears, substantially increasing its service life. This model also maintains the same compact size as its predecessor.
