Our modularized Planetary Gear Reducers can also be used as speed increasers, simply by reversing the input and output connections.
This makes it possible to increase power generation capacity by accelerating the rotation of wind turbines and feeding this power into generators using rotation speeds that more efficient for power generation.
Wind power generators are relatively large and have high input torque, so the products most often used by our customers are speed increasers (reducers) with outer diameters of 146~310 mm.
