Matex’s standard modularized Planetary Gear Reducers are also used as speed increasers for wind power generation. When modifications are necessary for connection to blades or generators, or for installation in equipment, we can also provide solutions by modifying existing standard designs or developing new custom products.
Though our standard Planetary Gear Increasers might have a maximum outer diameter of 200mm, we also have experience designing a custom planetary speed increaser with a diameter of 284mm for combined use with larger generators.
