Our factories in the Philippines and China, as well as Japan, are capable of mass-producing injection-molded gears using various plastics. We have a rich manufacturing history with engineering plastics such as POM and nylon, as well as super engineering plastics such as PPS and PEEK.
Super engineering plastics boast excellent properties, such as strength, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. However, using these materials in manufacturing comes with many challenges, such as high-temperature molding, corrosive gases as a byproduct, as well as requiring the use of reinforced plastics containing glass fibers or carbon fibers to improve performance, resulting in wear and tear on molds and molding machines.
