Maxell has completed joint development of a low current consumption power supply module kit for evaluation (hereafter "power supply module kit") incorporating the PSB401010H ceramic packaged all-solid-state battery, which boasts a sulfide-based solid electrolyte, high temperature resistance, a long lifetime, and high safety characteristics, and a voltage boosting DC-DC converter IC equipped with the Nano Energy™ ultra-low current consumption technology developed by ROHM Co., Ltd.

This development further facilitates the evaluation of all-solid-state battery management solutions, enabling the adoption in a wide range of applications from household appliances to industrial equipment, such as monitoring devices and measuring instruments.

The power supply module kit is configured with a charge control IC developed in collaboration with ROHM, a newly-developed voltage boosting DC-DC converter IC equipped with Nano Energy™ ultra-low current consumption technology and a reset IC (optional), as well as the PSB401010H all-solid-state battery.
