Mekanika announces a fundraising of 1.5 million euros

The Belgian start-up specializing in machines for CNC and screen printing aims to make local entrepreneurship more accessible

"Mekanika was born from a double observation: on the one hand, most of our daily objects come from afar, and on the other, more and more people are attracted by local crafts,” explains Roldan Descamps, one of the three founders of Mekanika “However, while it is very easy to find local customers, and even to sell online, the barriers to entry remain high: training, access to tools, raw materials… Thanks to our machines and tutorials, our users can start producing in a few days, without prior technical knowledge, and gradually grow their business.”

Since its creation in 2019, Mekanika has launched two sets of popular machines on the market, with a range of screen printing presses, and another for digital milling on wood and metal.
