Mersen Protistor® square body fuses are engineered for semiconductor devices. They have die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which helps control arcing characteristics for low I2t and high interrupting rating. All contact surfaces are silver plated and hardware is non-magnetic. Many square body fuses are equipped with a trip-indicator that can operate a field-mountable micro-switch.
