Direct bolted mounting Array NH Photovoltaic Fuses

Mersen extend their ranges of gPV-class fuses in the NH standard for photovoltaic applications.

These fuses are designed for direct bolted mounting on busbars.

Emmanuelle Delcambre, Product Manager at Mersen, states : “These HelioProtection® fuses are electrically speaking strictly identical to the existing range of solid-blades NH in all the worldwide accepted sizes: 1, 2, 1XL, 2XL and 3L. Blades are designed for bolted mounting on busbars. It is required when reduced installation time is a key factor especially in large-scale solar farms when the number of fuses to be mounted is high enough.”

The current rating of this new ranges lies from 50A to 400A. Typical voltage ratings are 1000VDC for sizes 1 and 2, 1250VDC for sizes IXL, 2XL and 3L and 1500VDC for size 3L. As for all Mersen fuses power losses are low.
