NEW: stepper motor by MICROSTEP GmbH

The standard stepping motors from the MICROSTEP series are generally permitted for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from +5° to +55°C. Use in the frost range as low as -20°C is certainly possible as long as the customer can ensure that no condensate gets into the motor.

In most cases, use at higher temperatures is what is more critical. For this reason, we have developed stepping motors with a special structural design and optimised the selection of materials that allow the motor to be used in ambient temperatures up to 90°C. If the electronics of the motor are configured properly and the controller is adapted, ambient temperatures of over 100°C are possible.
