Microtech Gefell at the DAS/DAGA 2025 - 51st Annual Meeting on Acoustics, March 17-20, 2025

Theory meets practice - MTG at the first joint annual meeting of the German and Danish Acoustical Societies, DEGA and DAS in Copenhagen

DAS/DAGA 2025 is the first joint annual meeting of the German and Danish Acoustical Societies, DEGA and DAS in Copenhagen.

This year's conference is organized by DEGA, DAS and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in collaboration with the Danish Sound Cluster.

The conference will take place at the Bella Centre, one of Scandinavia's largest exhibition and conference centers

and offers excellent opportunities for scientific presentations, colloquia, sessions, exhibitions, workshops and creative interactions.

The technical program includes plenary lectures, invited lectures and papers as well as poster presentations on all aspects of acoustics. Special events are dedicated to young acousticians, acoustics in industry and public relations. Excursions to relevant institutions.

In 2025, MTG will continue to focus on sound sensor technology, e.g. measuring capsules, amplifiers, measuring microphones, sound intensity probes, outdoor and environmental microphones, calibrators, power supplies and turnkey system solutions, such as complete test benches for indoor and outdoor use. Further developed digital microphone solutions will also be presented, such as the MV 240 USB with an extended range of functions.

Product innovation: MV 240 USB

With the MV 240 USB, Microtech Gefell is launching a measurement microphone amplifier in a class of its own!

The MV 240 USB is a measurement microphone amplifier with an integrated 2x 32-bit gain-ranging AD converter for externally polarized or pre-polarized measurement capsules. The digital 32-bit output signal with up to 192 kHz sampling frequency corresponds to calibrated sound pressure values and reproduces more than the entire dynamic range of a measurement capsule. The MV 240 USB is automatically recognized under Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android and Linux and powered directly from the USB interface.

Thanks to its versatility and impulses from the field, the MV 240's range of uses and possible applications have been greatly expanded.

In terms of design and quality, it differs fundamentally from all standard analog-digital solutions on the market and is constantly being developed further.

Current development topics include, for example, synchronization via the time stamp of a GPS sensor, e.g. for pass-by solutions or the expansion of the range of applications through combination with mobile end devices.

The MV 240 digital thus opens up a multitude of new applications that could not be realized with previous analogue or conventional analogue-digital solutions for cost or functional reasons.
