The tried and tested series of BC 2000 12/24 MP gear motors has been awarded an IP68 rating for special applications in the presence of dust and water.

Mini Motor has renewed the BC 2000 12/24 MP series of worm gear motors with a continuous current motor and permanent magnets in a closed housing with 12 or 24 VDC power supply.

This series has made its mark over the years thanks to its excellent performance, total reliability and extremely compact dimensions: in fact these are the smallest gear motors made by the company for this product category with a 60 W maximum power and 20 mm distance between centres.

To meet the demands of customers working with special motion requirements, extremely limited available space and in particularly hostile environments where there is water, dampness or a briny atmosphere (such as on boats or in car washers), Mini Motor is presenting these new gear motors with an exceptional IP68 rating, able to guarantee total protection against dust as well as permitting permanent immersion in water up to a metre deep.

There are 6 available reduction ratios with a maximum 5.2 Nm torque.
