Each purchased part requires documentation

With the MISUMI configuration you can create a purchased part from your drawing. Each purchased part requires documentation. To facilitate locating a part in your warehouse, or provide your ERP system with data, you can download product data with immediate effect. You will find the data on the product details page when you are logged in, and you can access it by clicking on the “Product data” button next to the CAD Download button.

Please note that you have to have completely finished the product configuration process and generated a valid parts number before you can access the sheet.

Before you start the download, you can select the file format you want for the corresponding CAD model.

You will then receive a ZIP file containing four documents:

- a CSV file containing structured product information to upload to your preferred database system,

- a readme.txt document explaining the structure of the CSV file,

- a file containing the CAD data

- a PDF document containing a specifications table and a 2D drawing.

The CSV file contains various product parameters, such as the parts number, product category, prices, delivery periods or discounts. You can upload this data to your database system to ensure you have detailed documentation available.

The PDF document offers a structured overview, including the parts number, product photo, 2D drawing and information on specifications, e.g. material, surface treatment, tolerance, final shape and dimensions of the product.
