Logistics and automation to better manage food logistics

Storing finished or semi-finished products, packaging, labels, production tools or stocks is very simple if you choose the technology of an automatic vertical warehouse.

But how to approach automation by choosing the right solution and finding the right partners for the transition?

It is discussed on 21 July from 9 in the event dedicated to food logistics at the Modula headquarters in Salvaterra di Casalgrande.

The company, manufacturer of automatic vertical warehouses, offers a seminar dedicated to the world of food in which logistic consultants, sector experts and agencies dedicated to the world of financing for industry 4.0 will be present which will end (complete agenda available here: info .modula.eu / eventofoodluglio)

Thanks to its experience, Modula solutions have in fact been adopted by both small companies and big players such as Coca Cola, Nestlè, TetraPak, and Conad, Coop, Auchan, Tulips Venchi just to name a few, Modula will give voice to the customers themselves who can share their experiences with the audience of the participants.

We will talk about how to improve the internal management of the warehouse in any environment and industrial sector, but also in different departments and applications to exploit the space available in height, up to 16 meters, saving 90% of that on the ground; the goods are stored inside them in the individual drawers and become easily recoverable and traceable

During the event there will be a live visit to the Modula factory, a true example of industry 4.0, where digitalization and lean production are the protagonists to support constant growth and an increasing number of machines produced and sold.

Here are just some of the stories that you can discover up close during an in-house event

- How to store all the different types of labels in an orderly and safe way, as do many wineries in northern Italy

- How to store finished packaged products before shipping them as, for example, Jin Ding, an Asian company that works in food and serves several points of sale, does

- How to improve the storage of tools, spare parts for machines, or serve production lines by acting as a buffer as do Coca Cola and Vonpar Refrescos

- How to store and manage low-turnover materials as Conad del Tirreno does, which in 5% of the surface with Modula stores 35% of the warehouse

- How to take advantage of the 4. 0 incentives made available by the government for investments in technology.
