Customized Straddle Carrier for Steel Plant – Capacity 33 ton

This self-propelled trolley is studied to handle billets and others steel products placed on pallets.

With its powerful diesel engine, its hydrostatic transmission and its suspension system it can move up to 33 tons at 15 Km/h also on uneven floors.

The straddle carrier is completely bidirectional thanks to a 180° rotating driver cabin.

It is equipped with the most advanced electronics HW and SW to guarantee a safe and precise handling of materials.

The lifting system of the straddle carrier is equipped with loading cells to weigh the load during lifting; the loading report can be printed by a printer inside the driver cabin.

A camera system help the operator during all the material handling operations.

The self-propelled trailer is equipped with a lighting system to allow working also during the night shift.
