ATEX Cat. 2 certification for Motive motors Forced Ventilation systems
Thus keeping Cat. 2 ATEX safety also for Power Cooled ATEX motors
Something was missing in Motive ATEX range: if you wanted a Motive ATEX motor to be power cooled, its ATEX classification had to be downgraded from Cat.2 (zones 1,2,21,22) down to Cat.3 (zones 2,22 only). Motive ATEX power cooling systems, in fact, were only for Cat.3. But something yesterday changed. Do you see the "new"?
