Packaging system for the world's largest cocoa bean processor!

MSK Tensiontech at Cargill in Wormer, Netherlands

The cocoa bean processor Cargill has put an MSK Tensiontech stretch hood system with MSK pallet conveyor technology into operation at its Dutch plant in Wormer near Amsterdam. The system packs cocoa powder into big bags or sacks with a capacity of up to 100 pallets per hour. In accordance with the applicable food industry hygiene regulations, the MSK system was supplied in MSK Clean Design. On the basis of carefully selected components, MSK Clean Design components have appropriate protection classes for water cleaning and design features that ensure the greatest possible hygiene in the production process. Only food-safe oil is used as transmission and hydraulic oil.

The system is controlled by the MSK EMSY 6.0 visualization software. The connection to the customer's ERP system allows the MSK system to receive relevant information on the packaging and labelling of the pallets and reports the pallet data to the customer's system.

The MSK Covertech Group packaging line went into operation at the Cargill site in Wormer at the beginning of October 2020.
