Vertical and Horizontal Mounting

The primary switched MTM Power® modules PMAS5-S and PMAS5-L have been designed as a universal compact power supply with AC (90…264 VAC) and DC (100…353 VDC) wide input ranges for worldwide application and allow an efficient, cost-saving solution for different tasks where low power is needed. The series PMAS5-S/-L offers 5 W constant output wattage and they are available with the single output voltages of 3,3; 5; 12; 15 and 24 VDC.

The series is short circuit protected, needs no ground load and has a reduced stand-by power. With smallest dimensions of only 42,0 x 30,0 x 18,2 mm (W x H x D) and due to the vertical mounting the series PMAS5-S are extremely space-saving. The dimensions of the horizontal version (series PMAS5-L) are 42,6 x 32,6 x 17,0 mm (W x H x D). The modules are characterised by a compact and rugged design.

The power supplies are designed for PCB mounting and are vacuum encapsulated

(U.S. Patent No. 8,821,778 B2). They are prepared for applications in Class 1 and/or 2 and comply with the Low Voltage Directive as well as the up-to-date EN standards as regards CE conformity. Furthermore the modules are VDE as well as UL/cUL approved.

The basis for the very high quality standard of the series is SMD-technology, 100-%-burn-in-test and an automatic 100 % final test.
