Data transfers
Fieldbus protocols and how they work
Fieldbus protocols are frequently used as standard to connect to the PLC or PC-based controller for the data transfer in machine and vehicle construction. The bus cable replaces the previous cable bundle.
NBB offers an appropriately equipped radio receiver as part of one of the system solutions for integration in this type of bus system.
Data transfer with CAN bus
Typical application areas can be found in industrial automation.
The following protocols are supported by NBB:
– CAN
– CANopen
– J1939
The following receivers can be equipped with a
CAN bus interface according to the customer requirement:
– Compact M
– Compact M2
– Compact V
Data transfer with PROFIBUS
Typical application areas can be found in machine construction.
The Compact M2 receiver is suitable to be equipped with a PROFIBUS interface.
– Compact M2
Serial data transfer
Typical for relatively simply structured control commands.
The following protocols are supported by NBB:
– LINbus
– customer-specific
The following interfaces are available for this:
– LINbus
– RS232
– RS485
The following receivers are suitable for this:
– Compact M
– Compact M2
– Compact V
