NBK's ultra thin vented titanium screws for vacuum environment

NBK offers a wide range of screws suitable for vacuum environment.

The SVSHT is one of these, an extra-low head screw made of titanium with a vacuum hole. It has a vacuum hole to vent out any gas build-up at the bottom of the screw hole and is very thin and compact, with a head height of 1.3 mm to 1.5 mm. The material is TW340 (Grade 2 Titanium), which is corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic. NBK titanium screws are characterised by their beautiful surface due to a special chemical polishing and brightening process. Due to the polished surface, outgassing is minimal. The standard specification also includes cleanroom cleaning and packaging services. It is ideal for vacuum equipment/vacuum vessels/FPD manufacturing equipment/semiconductor manufacturing equipment/electron microscopes.
