BRASS BILLET TRANSPORTATION & POSITIONING

Neotecman’s press feeding system is based on the transportation of the hot billet(s) (from 1 up to 4 parts per cycle) from the cutting area into the die. The process is done in 2 steps using a combination of a servo-motor arm and a 360º robot. This enables the placement of the billet(s) in any position in the lower forging die. The robot has 6 axes and is able to handle a billet up to 7kg of weight.
