NETZSCH at the ACHEMA 2015

The worldwide leading exhibition for chemical technology, process technology and biotechnology took place in Frankfurt from June 15 to 19, 2015 with a total of more than 3.800 exhibitors and about 170.000 expert visitors from 111 countries. Every three years exhibitors from all over the word take the opportunity to show their latest products and groundbreaking novelties in the field of chemical and mechanical process engineering.

As a leading manufacturer of machines and plants for mechanical process engineering the business unit Grinding & Dispersing presented a cross section of products from the companies NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH, NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik GmbH, NETZSCH Vakumix GmbH on a mutual booth. The company NETZSCH Lohnmahltechnik GmbH presented itself as service provider for toll grinding and our cooperation partner Malvern showed some of their products as well.

The novelty NETZSCH ALPHA® was in the focus and attracted the visitors’ attention not only during the live presentations that were held every full hour. This new machine series is setting a new standard in terms of flexibility and handling and enables easy conversion to three different grinding systems on one machine platform. The clear machine design with the claim “form is function” generated a lot of visitor traffic to the booth and after the short live presentations of the new ALPHA® 22 und 45 the visitor enjoyed learning more about the advantages of the three different grinding systems in discussions with the staff on the booth.

In general, large crowds visited our booth in spite of a drop of visitors from regions with a currently difficult political or economic situation (former CIS, Near and Middle East) and the number of verified contacts to decision-makers and potential customers from all companies within the business unit could be increased compared to the last ACHEMA in 2012.

Particularly pleasing is that the company NETZSCH Vakumix GmbH booked two orders right on the exhibition. Furthermore, the exhibition offered the opportunity to stay in touch with our customers and to have good discussions with prospective customers about tangible projects, which will become topical within the next few weeks.

The next ACHEMA will take place in Frankfurt from June 18 to 22, 2018 and we will be there as exhibitors showing our expertise in the field of grinding and dispersing.
