Occupational health in the mechanical engineering and machining industries

NEU-JKF Delta NEU launches the new Oilpack range to protect operators and secure production and metal processing tools

Cutting fluids are essential substances in the automotive and metalworking industries.

During metal machining, they are used to lubricate, cool and protect metal parts from from oxidation.

However, they are very dangerous: certain and chemical additives they contain,

or which are formed during storage, can pose real risks to human health.

In particular, the INRS warns of possible skin disorders in the event of contact with the skin and respiratory ailments caused by breathing aerosols.

In all, over 1 million workers are exposed to cutting fluids.

In this context, NEU-JKF Delta NEU, the expert in filtration and air quality for industry, has been has been designing and developing mist eliminators for development of particularly innovative oil mist collectors.

The result of this lengthy R&D programme, the new Oilpack range is an impressive performer: modular, compact and plug & play,, it is capable of meeting all requirements in terms of capturing cutting fluids or 'oil mist' from production and metal transformation tools.

This technology will be presented at SEPEM in Rouen at the end of January 2024, the date of the official launch of the equipment.
