Brief introduction of AGV:

Currently, AGV is mainly adopted in automobile, tobacco, chemical and food industry in worldwide. The typical application of AGV in automobile industry is for docking among different assembly lines of engines, or chassis and platform. More extensive application of AGV in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and tobacco industry is due to their special requirements on cleanness, safety, no emission of pollutes and so on.

Transmission structure:

A newstart planetary gearbox is usually used in the mechanism of AGV’s drive wheels, where each wheel is equipped with a planetary gearbox and connected to a servo motor. It has already been applied to two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive AGV by now. The planetary gearbox used on AGVs are usually designed case by case, so there are no unified models and specifications.
